Mandate
The City Planning and Development Coordinator shall take charge of the planning and development office and shall:
Formulate integrated economic, social, physical and other development plans and policies for consideration of the local government development council;
Conduct continuing studies, researches, and training programs necessary to evolve plans and programs for implementation;
Integrate and coordinate all sectoral plans and studies undertaken by the different functional groups or agencies;
Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the different development programs, projects and activities in the LGU in accordance with the approved development plan;
Prepare comprehensive plans and other development planning documents for the consideration of the LDC;
Analyze the income and expenditure patterns, formulate and recommend fiscal plans and policies for the recommendation of the finance committee of the LGU as provided under Title Five, Book II of the Code;
Promote people participation in the development planning within the LGU;
Exercise supervision and control over the secretariat of the LDC; and
Exercise such other powers and perform such other functions and duties as maybe prescribed by law or ordinance.

1. About the service
Information about the city & its development plans are available at CPDO;
This includes:
- Socio-Economic Profile
- Land Use Plan
- Various Maps
- other city statistics
2. How to avail of the services
- Inquiry
- client approaches frontline personnel who refer him/her to the person in charge of the data being requested - 1 minute
- Verify information availability
- person in charge verifies if information required is available - 2 minutes
- Access information
- if data is available, clients waits while the person-in-charge accesses the information, otherwise, the client is referred to other probable sources of information - 5 minutes
- Review and verifications
- person-in-charge reviews and verifies the information to be given to the client - 5 minutes
- Photocopy documents
- if original document may not be given, client leaves an ID card with the person in charge and is allowed to photocopy documents.
- Register in the logbook - clients signs a logbook for record purposes, if documents were photocopied, client return the original document and
retrieves his/her ID card - 1 minute
SECURING ZONING CLEARANCE FOR BUILDING PERMIT
- Accomplishment of requirements and assessment of fees
- Applicant fills up the application form and has it notarized. Zoning official assesses the clearance fee to be paid.

- applicant goes back to CPDO with receipts and submits all requirements .
